AllOne Health Group Launches Personal Health Records for Mobile Phones

AllOne Health Group has announced that their mobile application, AllOne Mobile, from the AllOne Health Group (AHG), places personal health records (PHR) at consumers’ fingertips through their mobile phones.

AllOne Mobile saves PHRs in a secure environment and links to users’ mobile phones, giving them well-organized, easy-to-use, 24/7 mobile access – without the need for an Internet connection.

AllOne Mobile data is stored behind a password-protected encrypted channel thanks to a partnership with Diversinet Corp., a provider of wireless security applications.

The application is downloaded wirelessly to phones and is automatically updated with the most current security and features available. This level of security and control gives users the confidence and comfort to create, manage and enhance their PHRs using the mobile phone or the Web.

Moreover, users can manage and share their PHRs with physicians, hospitals, clinics and emergency personnel to improve medical outcomes.

In April, AllOne Mobile launched to the Hospital Service Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania (HSA) and its health plans. HSA is the first health plan in the nation to adopt this technology and it will enable HSA to provide its members with real-time access to health information.

AllOne Mobile will also be used by employees of major businesses and the general public to better manage their health and well-being.
“AllOne Mobile provides users immediate access to information buried in paper folders and computer files,” William C. Reed, president and CEO of AHG said.

“It’s a groundbreaking solution that provides consumers access to critical health and insurance information at the click of a button and allows them to share it securely on their terms anywhere, anytime.”

“We are witnessing the next generation of health care,” said Dr. Drew Palin, M.D., vice president of product development at HSA.

“Why is it that we can instantly check the score on any sports contest in the country, but can’t confirm a child’s drug allergies? If we can give our members a better way to share their medical history, test results and medications, we believe we can significantly reduce time to treatment and medical errors.”

“By offering AllOne Mobile to health plan members among a suite of other health plan options, we’ll be able to provide convenient and reliable health information anywhere and anytime, as well as help individuals better manage health care costs,” Palin added.
