Delta Air Lines to Offer Mobile PDA-to-Fax PrintingDelta Air Lines today announced a special pricing offer on mobile printing services for Crown Room Club members, an offer to print documents directly from a personal device assistant to a fax machine in any location.
The technology is now available in Delta Crown Room Clubs across the United States and has been provided by Premiere Global Services (News - Alert), Inc., company officials say. The company is a provider of on-demand, communication technologies-based business process improvement solutions.
“Staying productive and connected while on the go is crucial - particularly for Delta customers traveling on business,” stated Joe Leach, Delta’s general manager of Ground Products. “With mobile printing, our Crown Room Club members can quickly and conveniently print itineraries, calendars, e-mails, attachments and much more.”
Delta Crown Room Club says its members subscribing to Fax2Mail Mobile can pay a special annual service fee of $14.95 to print as many as 25 pages per month for a period of 12 months in total.
A dedicated Web site for Delta Crown Room Club members has been set up to help travelers instantly sign up for the service, officials say, and detailed directions on how to access the mobile printing service have been posted in Delta’s 34 Crown Room Clubs across the United States.
The service is set to launch this week. In support of the new offering, representatives of Premiere Global Services will be available in Delta Crown Room Clubs at several following airports to help new users with the registration process.
Delta Air Lines says it operates flights to 327 destinations in 62 countries. The airline provides flights to 44 trans-Atlantic markets and 609 weekly flights to 62 destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Through the airline’s marketing alliances, customers can earn and redeem SkyMiles on over 16,000 flights provided by SkyTeam (of which Delta is a founding member) and other partners. Taking SkyTeam and worldwide codeshare partners into account, Delta offers flights to 499 worldwide destinations in 105 countries.
