Jamba Intros 'Magic' Apps for Mobile UsersJamba, a mobile content and entertainment provider, announced its global partnership with Trixcell.
Jamba is now offering five of Trixcell’s applications with regular updates to it users. The application features a variety of magic tricks that includes controlling time, predicting the future, reading minds and turning digital coins into real money. Jamba is offering Trixcell’s mobile magic application as part of its diverse mobile entertainment catalogue.
“Jamba is always looking to expand and diversify its content offering to deliver a better experience to mobile users around the world,” said William Linders, Jamba’s executive vice president of content, in a statement.
Jamba’s main line of business is the creation and marketing of ringtones for mobile phones. It is perhaps best known for the “sweety the chick” and “crazy frog” characters. The company also sells insurance for mobile phones and home electronics and runs online gaming and online dating services. “Jamster” is another name of Jamba in some countries.
“As a young company we are excited to work with Jamba and to offer our magic mobile applications in partnership with a global distributor of mobile entertainment,” said Shlomi Grandes, CEO and founder of Trixcell, in a statement. “Jamba gives us the opportunity to introduce our product worldwide and make it accessible for a wide audience.”
Trixcell’s portfolio of applications allows consumers to project some of the magic secrets and tricks through mobile devices. Trixcell’s team, referred to as the “Shadow Magicians,” create the graphics and special effects to increase the authenticity and help advance the suspension of disbelief.
Jamba has joint ventures with News Corporation and has headquarters situated in Beverly Hills, California, and Berlin, Germany. It claims to reach a billion consumers around the globe in 35 countries and 25 languages across five continents. And supports more than 2,800 handsets and provides billing connectivity to more than 125 operators worldwide.
Jamba’s magic concept is being introduced in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the U.K., Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Hungary, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Thailand and South Africa.
